Guest: Thanks
Ryder,
as a Canadian living in America, where Lnace is King, it was great to see your impressive ride in France.
(Nothing against Lance, he just gets all the coverage, and I'm partial to Canadians.)
Stay well,
gj

Guest: Congratulations!
Hello Ryder,
I wanted to congratulate you with finishing 7th in the Tour! I hope that it makes more people in Canada go out, buy a bike (mountain, racing, or simply road) and just go biking! I grew up in Canada (my parents are both Dutch) and so I grew up biking everywhere I needed to go. I followed the Tour with my parents as a kid, was travelling through France in the summer of 1990 when Steve Bauer had the yellow jersey, which was really exciting as a Canadian. I had that same feeling this time around following you from the outside the top 10, to a top 10, to 8th, and with a great time trial (in that wind) for the 7th place.
Just though I'd pass on a little fun we had here in the Netherlands with a Tour de France pool. I was picking my team, and was looking through who was going to be 'my team'. I remembered that you had won a stage in the Vuelta last year, so I checked you out, and put you in my team. The guys in my lab here were all laughing because they said that Canadians couldn't bike. I had the last laugh, and scored a lot of points because of your great performance. Keep up the great biking, and I hope to be able to follow you in the Vuelta!
Cheers,
Eric van der Veer

Guest: Way to go
Congratulations Ryder on an exceptional 2010 TDF, seventh place is incredible. We cheered you on over the cobble stones, across the flat lands, over the alps, and couldn't believe the fourth place finish on the Col du Tourmalet (I think you surprised everyone when you came across the line in the mist).
Thanks again Ryder, and to Michael Barry for representing Canada this year in the TDF. Best of luck with the rest of the season and next year.

Way to go RYDER!!! We are so proud!!!
You put us on the map....well almost...the announcers said that you were from Vancouver situated on Victoria Island...but heck, that's close enough. No worries, you've really made a name for yourself (no Ryder pun intended)...next time everyone will know exactly where you are from. Seventh Place!!! Totally awesome!!!
