kimk: Mad props!
You must be over the moon with the way the tour has gone for you. You know you've done well when versus claims you as a fellow NorthAmerican. buggers should give our countryman some love!
Thanks for making the tour extra fun to watch this year. I've especially enjoyed bugging the boys on our rides about the fact that a Canadian placed better than any Americans. Probably why they dropped me today! LOL

Wendy: Bravo!!!
CONGRATS RYDER, so proud of your effort.
Have watched the tdef for a long time but this year has been so exciting watching you do yourself, your family, your team, and your Country so so proud.
We watched Tuft and Meier here in the Tour de Delta and White Rock and it would be so great if the local boys could join you next year in France. Lost a lot of sleep watching you here on the left coast but so worth it. Way to go keeping the Olympic feeling going here in VANCOUVER.

Pat: TDF
Hi Ryder.....I'm from Pitt Meadows BC. I have been a TDF follower is 1999. Lance was my main interest, I was shocked to hear them mention a Canadian this year. That's never happened before. Way to go. I would love to meet you one day and have you to autograph my TDF baseball cap one day. I hope you are in TDF next year.

Guest: Congrats from the Sea
Ryder,
Wanted to give you a shout out from Canadian Navy ship HMCS Algonquin at sea. A bunch of us have been following your progress during the Tour from sea and you have made us very proud. Both you and the ship share home ports in Victoria. We are currently deployed to South America but when we return we would love to have you down to the officer's mess (our bar) to hear some stories about the cobbles and the Pyrenees over a couple of beers.
Best of luck,
The officers and crew of HMCS Algonquin

Eric and Tom: Classy
Ryder,
I'm over in France with the family to check out a stage of our first Tour. We set up on stage 10 halfway up Laffrey. The peloton came by so quick it was hard to make out many riders, but when I looked at one point, there you were waving to my young son who was holding a Canadian flag and cheering for you. Thank you so much for that gesture - it was a thrill for him. We are so happy for the success you have had this year. Keep it up!

Dave: Hell of a job, man!
Great work, Ryder! I'm just back from manning a control in Woss on the VanIsle 1200, and as the riders were coming through, they were glued to the tube or laptop to see yow you've been doing - and you're doing us proud!
