Guest: congrats and cousin?
Hey Ryder,
Fantastic job! I hope it was a thrilling experience.
Since your rise to fame, I've had a million inquiries as to our relation - is there any? I'm a Heshedahl... my aunt has done extensive family research and I don't think there are many of 'us' in North America. I know that our family name was changed from Hesjedal to Heshedahl at some point relatively recently. It would be fun to make some connection if there is any.
Best wishes for what the future holds for you and yours. It would be great to be in touch... I live in Silverton, BC.
Best,
Kevin

Michel from Calgary: Fantastique!
Bravo Ryder from all of us Canadians! You made us proud to be a Canadian for the last 3 weeks at the Tour (+ all year round of course!). Pushing your limits physically and mentally is an amazing feast. You deserve a lot more credits in our country as a professional athlete but be aware that there are lots of us that watches you on a regular basis and cheers for you!
Dream high and keep going!
